Description

Jäger cap: short visor, leather tape around the head, the characteristic brown buttons. The cap is made of thick cloth, has ventilation holes on sides, and has stamp of the manufacturer and size inside on the cupola.

Inside of the visor is cardboard. The cap shouldn't be washed in the washing machine. You should apply a liquid cleaner on the contaminated areas, rub these with a brush or sponge and rinse with a stream of water. Dry expanded.

The material of the lining, buttons and stamps may differ from that in the photo, but will be within the historical compliance.

T-form insignia was usually sewn on the front. You can buy it from us and sew on your own, or choose a cap with already sewn insignia, made by a scilled tailor.

Price for 1 cap. Other items in the photo are not included in the price and are sold separately, they are shown in the photo to compare the color and size of the cap.

Historical reference.

The cap is considered a part of the field uniform (all-season). However, it is more convenient to wear it in the winter. The cap was used by mountain troops and by field Jäger units from the end of the 1930s until the introduction of the Einheitsfeldmütze (all-branches cap) in 1943. After 1943, the cap was not produced, but used. Eagle and cockade on a single piece in the shape of the letter T was usually sewn on the front.
