Description
There were no such caps in the troops, but they could be ordered in private, because the model was extremely popular at that time. We did this cap not for reenactors, but for civilians who love “German style” and black colour.
High quality woolen cloth and cotton for lining are used, inside is sheep leather band. Brown buttons are like Steinnuß (stone walnut) buttons, which were very common on the original jaeger caps of the time. Buttons on this cap are made of synthetic polymer, although at the beginning of the XX century they were made from walnut "corozo". Soft flexible insert is in the visor, it holds the visor, and it can not be broken. It is water-resistant. Inside the cap there is a manufacturer's mark.
