Description

Museum quality belt for a soldier of the Red Army of the pre-war period and the beginning of the war. The buckle is riveted with 3 rivets. Manufacturer's ink stamp on the inside of the belt.

Accuracy in all details. Buckle made of 5 mm steel wire with zinc coating. Vegetable tanned leather 5 mm thick - no chrome! Historically correct leather was used for these belts. Be careful, chrome leather copies are cheaper and not authentic.

The end pieces and the opening for the peg are cut out, the edges are rolled, as it was on the original.

Width 35 mm. Size 120 (waist 80-110 cm over clothes).

Historical reference.

This belt design was used by privates of the RIA (Russian Imperial Army) and the Red Army (Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army) throughout the first half of the 20th century. The years of adoption of this belt for supplying the army: 1881, 1914, 1935. The design is simple and reliable.

During the 2nd World War, leather belts began to be replaced with combined or completely tarpaulin belts. The original belts of the Red Army vary widely in color and processing. Usually assembled firmly, but not neatly.
