Finnish match boxes made of veneer

Description

Matches are not included. You are buying an authentic veneer box. Matches are available in any country and have not changed since those times. Matches are prohibited for shipment as a flammable cargo.

The boxes are assembled and pasted over the original ones and are intended for use in reenactment.

Dimensions 50x35x16 mm, about 50 matches in the box. Ignition strip on both sides.

Historical reference.

During World War II, matchboxes were made from veneer (the same material from which the matches themselves were made), and not from cardboard as in modern matches. A label was placed on the box.
