Symbol of SS mountain troops: edelweiss framed in a mountain rope, oval-shaped patch. It is embroidered with silver and gold metal gimp on black cloth. The insignia was worn on the right sleeve, usually between the top of the oval and the shoulder seam was 15 cm. The size of the insignia was 6x7 cm.
