Please determine your size before buying! You need to measure the foot and select the size in the table by clicking the link. You need to measure on the sock with which you plan to wear these boots. If you want to wear a thick sock and / or an additional insole (which is just necessary when using leather shoes in winter, otherwise they are very cold), you need to take a size larger relative to what you have set out on the table.
It is useful to know that the foot in the boot is kept by instep, and not due to the fingers. In the German manuals there are illustrations, how to select the size. Opposite the tight fingers is written "Falsch" — "not correct". So measure the length of your foot and the length of the insole (take the insole from your old shoes). When you wear these shoes, there should be a room of about 1 cm (⅓ inch) in front of your toe.
It must be remembered that after several active events, the shoes will shrink (leather things decrease in size over time). That is, you can not take the size "end-to-end".

Description
Firm replica for reenactment. Thick and resilient leather.
This is early model of German early war boots, with 4 pairs of hooks and 5 pairs of holes for laces. Dense undyed leather is directed flesh side out on front detail.
Please determine your size before the purchase! You should know that a foot is held in a boot by instep, not by finger set agaist the nose of the boot. Add to this that boots get smaller after some use (leather items tend to shrink with time). I. e. you shouldn't take a close size, you'd better take plus size.
Shoe height (excluding sole and heel) 17 cm, full 21 cm (height may vary slightly from size to size).
We offer the following shoe colors: black, cognac, walnut. Select the color next to the "Add to cart" button.
Leather laces come with shoes. The gaiters shown in the photo are original and are not for sale.
Do I need to care for shoes? Sure!
You must treat the shoes with grease. You can melt any fat and wax (candle) in 1:1 ratio in a jar and soak the boot with this liquid, constantly warming up the boot over the fire. Or just put the shoe-grease over the top and the sole and let it soak up within 24 hours. Do not use cheap shoe-creams — these are designed for civilian shoes and dissolve in water. After each wet, leather shoes must be treated again with grease or oil. Shoes with leather soles are not synthetic sneakers, leather soles will fall apart if they dry out!
Leather care is time-consuming, but essential in this hobby. A German soldier took care of all his equipment all the time. The uniform did not belong to a soldier; it was the Reich property! You should support it as well, putting grease or oil (you may use Johnson's baby as a light variant) every time after it got wet.
The boots come with the one-year guarantee. We will cover split seams and heel irons that have fallen off. We will not cover damage due to improper leather care such as deformation, splits, cracks, heat damage due to being too close to a fire, and lost nails (nails may fall out during operation, this is normal).
We sell high-quality both paint and shoe grease (sold separately from boots). 100 ml can of grease is enough for 3-4 times.
