Soviet matches veneer boxes

Description

Matches in a veneer box. The boxes are assembled and pasted over the original ones and are intended for use in reenactment.

Dimensions 50x35x16 mm, about 50 matches in the box. Ignition strip on both sides.

Historical reference.

Until the early 1980s, matchboxes in the USSR were made of veneer (the same material from which the matches themselves were made), and not from cardboard like modern matches. A label was placed on the box.
