Description
The cap is sold without a star. You can buy the star separately.
The soft field cap of the Red Army was used before the Great Patriotic War and during the war period by both officers and enlisted personnel.
The cap is made of thick diagonal harem (from which trousers and hats were usually sewn in the Red Army) and has no hard parts (except for a semi-soft insert in the visor, which allows it to be compactly rolled up, put in the bosom, in a pocket, etc. The star is original steel, painted with protective paint. There is an ink stamp on the bottom inside the cap.
The cap is quite popular as a civilian headdress if used without a star. It is also often used for filming and theatrical productions, as it confidently forms the Soviet image of the mid-twentieth century.
