Big shovel carrier M43

Description

The simplified canvas cover for a large sapper shovel (BSL-110). Made from canvas. Such cases were produced between 1943 and 1950.

The original kit included a fabric shoulder strap for carrying, but was not actually used in the active army. The handle of the shovel was secured at the top point with the straps of a duffel bag.
