War Merit Cross ribbon

Description

Black ribbon with white and red stripes on edges. Width 32 mm. You can take any lenght. Price is for 10 cm (1 decimeter or 4 inches). The ribbon length of 10 cm is enough to sew it in the buttonhole of the field jacket, but very modestly. You can take more to have a reserve.

The ribbon has NO moire. Moire is the shimmering (glitter) on the ribbon.

Historical reference.

The War Merit Cross ribbon was worn in (the second from above) buttonhole. There were ribbons of other awards together in the buttonhole sometimes: Eastern Medal or the Iron Cross 2nd class.
