12 Year Service Medal

Description

German Heer 12 Year Long Service Medal (including the blue ribbon). Finished in gold plate. Supplied complete with a length of cornflower blue ribbon and a small eagle (coat of arms of the Third Reich), which should be fixed on the tape.

Historical reference.

This award was instituted on 16th March 1935 and bestowed after 12 years service in Armed forces.
