Description

Made of dense khaki fabric, steel fittings painted gray. Black leather details.

Historical reference.

The strap for the bread bag was needed in order to carry the bag not on the waist belt, but over the shoulder (outside of combat formations). However, it found a more widespread use at the beginning of the Second World War as a device for camouflage on a helmet. It was wound in a special way around the helmet, and grass was tucked under it.
