Description
A cap made of dark blue cloth for the head staff. The band is turquoise, the edges are red, and the visor is black lacquered made of fibre (pressed cardboard).
A red five-pointed star with a hammer and sickle is fixed in front, a symbol of Soviet power. A black lacquered strap runs under the star, secured on the sides with metal buttons.
The star comes complete with a cap and is installed. You can replace it with a more expensive one if desired.
Historical reference.
The cap of this model has been used by police officers of the USSR since 1940. The blue color was characteristic of NKVD police officers, distinguishing them from the military and other services. Such a headdress was worn during the war and right up to the reforms of the uniform in the post-war years.
