Description

Army raincoat tent. It can be used as a raincoat (the hood is formed by laces) or as part of a tent (or an individual tent-canopy). When in the rain, it gets wet slowly.

It's waterproof (how people understood this in the middle of the 20th century). This is not a membrane or plastic. When the fabric gets wet, the fibers expand and do not allow water to pass through, it flows down. But the fibers themselves remain wet.

Post-war issue (different stamps). The stamps may differ from those shown in the product photo!

Our raincoat tents have leather grommets (that is, the edging of the holes for the rope is made of leather). Such raincoat tents are suitable for reenactment, unlike later ones with steel grommets.
