The sign is made of dark green cloth with white lightning embroidered with thread.

Historical reference.

There were many signs of military specialists in the German army. In particular, the insignia of signalmen was used by female and male personnel. Below are the original photos showing the use of the patch.

On the left - female auxiliary signal personnel 1942, you can see the patches on the cap and sleeves.
On the right: a signalman of the Wehrmacht (the color of the lightning on the patch is dark, possibly red for artillery).
