Description
The sign is made of dark green cloth with a lightning embroidered with colored thread. On these insignia, the lightning is white (infantry).
We offer this sign in two sizes:
• large (about 6 cm) for the sleeve of the jacket (on the left arm);
• small (about 3 cm) for the cap of female signaltroops.
The size of the patch must be selected before buying next to the "Add to cart" button. The price for a large and small patch may vary. If a certain size cannot be selected, it means that it is sold out and may appear later.
Historical reference.
There were many signs of military specialists in the German army. In particular, the insignia of signalmen was used by female and male personnel. Below are the original photos showing the use of the patch.
On the left - female auxiliary signal personnel 1942, you can see the patches on the cap and sleeves.
On the right: a signalman of the Wehrmacht (the color of the lightning on the patch is dark, possibly red for artillery).
