Metal cast badge with silver finish. Assembled from two parts: a wreath (laurel and oak leaves) has golden finish, and the eagle is silver. Pin fastening.

The combined Pilot and Observer award was bestowed on pilots who had held both Pilot's and Observer's certificates for at least one year.
