Description

A copy of the grommet, which was used in the German army to strengthen the cord-holes on the equipment. It has an inner diameter of 17 mm and an outer diameter of about 32 mm, which corresponds to a small grommet on a tent (Zeltbahn).

Grommets for the army were made of aluminum or zinc. Later made of galvanized steel. Aluminum and zinc (early) ones are the hardest to get today, reenactors often replace them with modern steel ones. This grommet is more suitable for use in reenactment.

Price for 1 grommet + washer (for 1 hole with a clearance of 17 mm). The installation device is sold separately.

Take a look at the photo below comparing the original grommet and our copy.
