Will be later

Porcelain mug with the symbols of the Volkswagen factory (Volkswagen = "people's car") and with the stamp of the "The beauty of the work" bureau (Schönheit der Arbeit).

We offer a quality copy for domestic use and, undoubtedly, a good gift for friends! The mug is a decoration of its time and can be used in reenactment, filming and expositions. It weighs approximately 300 g and holds 330 ml of liquid. The diameter is 8 cm, the height is almost 10 cm. The inscriptions are applied by hot decalcification (paint is injected into the surface at high temperature), this is not a cheap stencil. The inscriptions are fixed securely and can be washed in a dishwasher.

Historical reference.

The Volkswagen project emerged from Hitler's speech in 1934 when he called for a car for the general public. The order for the development of the prototype was received by Ferdinand Porsche (the one who named the Porsche car brand), by then heading his own design bureau in Stuttgart. The name Porsche is pronounced with emphasis on the first syllable. The German automobile industry was not interested in creating a competitor, so Hitler commissioned the German Workers Front (DAF) to build the largest automobile plant in Europe. And the first car model was symbolically called KdF-Wagen (KdF = Kraft durch Freude = "power through joy", a community under the wing of the German Labor Front, which was engaged in organizing leisure for workers in order to achieve maximum productivity).

The symbol depicted on the circle is the very first Volkswagen logo that was changed already in 1939 (it lost the stylized swastika). Source:

A swastika stamp on the bottom with the inscription Modell des Amtes — Schönheit der Arbeit (service model — Beauty of Labor). The Beauty of Labor Bureau is an organization of Robert Ley (in the future responsible for organizational matters of the NSDAP (Reichsorganisationsleiter der NSDAP)) — part of the Labor Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront). They were engaged in the improvement of labour conditions and labor protection. Initially, the tiny organization became a hybrid of trade inspection (Gewerbeaufsicht). On the one hand, they visited companies along with the inspection, and on the other hand, they pointed out to the inspectorates what to look for. Suggestions for improvement served not only to create a beautiful work environment, but also to increase productivity, rationalize the use of labor and means of production, cultivate the National Socialist community of leadership and workers, save metals (which should be reserved for the military industry). Source:
