Assault badge (general type with grenade and bayonet under the eagle in a wreath). Made of light metal by stamping. Branded JFS, weight 21 g, 43x53 mm.

Historical reference.

This badge was awarded to soldiers of the ground forces for actions that contribute to the success of the attack. At the same time, they could not be awarded the Infantry Assault badge, because they did not serve in the infantry, but, for example, in engineer, anti-tank, or medical units.
