Description
High-quality reproduction of motorcycle dispatch rider goggles Kradmelderbrille.
The metal parts are painted field-grey (feldgrau), a greenish-grey shade matching the colour of a German steel helmet. The dense rubber seals are made from real rubber, while the adjustable elastic strap holds the goggles securely in place.
The metal bridge bears a reproduced GS 41 stamp.
The set includes a fully reproduced silver-coloured tin case matching the original storage boxes for these goggles. Spare lenses are not included.
The price is for the goggles and tin case.
Historical reference.
Kradmelderbrille protective goggles formed part of the equipment used by German motorcycle units and dispatch riders. Their construction combined a metal frame, clear glass lenses, rubber seals and an adjustable elastic strap; the goggles were stored in a tin case.
