Cross for 25 years in party

Description

The cross is for sale with its red-white-gold ribbon.

This party award was instituted on the 2nd April 1939 and bestowed after 25 years loyal service in the N.S.D.A.P. (national-socialist German workers party). Die-struck and beautifully finished in white enamel and gold plate. It has  coat of arms of the Third Reich (eagle) on one side and inscription Treue Für Führer und Volk (loyalty to the leader and the people) on the other side. Hung like a medal by a piece of tape.

Historical reference.

Even thought the N.S.D.A.P. did not exist for 25 years, it was still possible to receive this award as war service and service during the "time of struggle" counted as double.
