Description
The woolen pipe to protect the throat and back of the head. Every German soldier during the Second World war had one. It stretches well, but does not sprawl, keeps shape. Warm, soft, better than a scarf, because it doesn't untie. Suitable for use outside the reenactment hobby, an indispensable thing for autumn and winter chilly weather. It may be placed even in a shirt pocket when folded.
Size 36х26 cm (in flat form). Weight 60 g. The toque has no seam, is sewn as a pipe, as originals were. Produced after the war for the NVA (DDR army).
Color feldgrau (olive or greenish-gray). Since these balaclavas were produced for the German army in the postwar years, they laid in stock for a long time. Small fluctuations in color (fading) are acceptable and aren't rejects.
We offer a choice of balaclavas of the 1st and 2nd grade (you need to select option next to the "Add to cart" button). The 2nd grade has either a small hole (as in the photo below) or a slightly changed color around the edges due to long storage.
