Description
Items in the photo (other than camouflage fabric) are shown to present the actual colors and size of the fabric pattern. They don't come with the fabric.
Double-sided camouflage material, thick tent fabric. Exactly the same fabric was used on German raincoat tents Zeltbahn!
Base: 100% cotton, plain weave. Width 1.5 m, density (weight) 300 g/m2. It turns to ash when burning, no plastic! Gorenje! Suitable for raincoat tents, awnings, hats, camouflage blouses, covers, as tablecloths. The fabric is not a plastic awning, it is not 100% waterproof. Like the original raincoat, this fabric resists moisture by swelling the threads that cover the micro-holes, preventing moisture from flowing through, but the fabric itself remains wet. This is how any tent fabric of the 20th century worked before the invention of plastic awnings (polyesters, polyethylene).
Below is a video about how we managed to get a fabric that completely copies the German tent fabric.
The camouflage pattern Splinter is early one (distributed 1931-1942), it's completely and down to the smallest detail copies the original one. Beware of fakes! They give out bad copies where the size, shape of the spots, shape of "raindrops" is not accurate and just "similar" to the original at 1st glance.
Price for 0.1 running meter (a stripe of 10x155 сm or 4x61 inch) of fabric. 10 units of the item = 1 running meter. For example, you can buy 0.3 running meters (a piece of 30x155 cm) and sew a pair of caps from it. You can put any quantity into the shopping cart, but the cart will allow you to place an order only for the quantity that is actually in stock.
The last piece that will be sold from the warehouse will have a cutout of about 15x15 cm from the probe, which is taken to the production archive. We do not make discounts and do not compensate for this disadvantage.
If you want to sew something, we recommend that you find a tailor and consult with him before ordering. We do not know how much fabric is needed for your product! Cuts of fabric are not subject to exchange and return. If you need a probe — buy 0.1 m, it is not expensive.
