The badge is 39x48 mm, has letters D.R.L within a wreath with swastika in relief. Complete with the correct German style hinge and full makers name on the reverse.
Sports Badge was often worn on the military uniform.
Historical reference.
This version of the award was introduced in 1937 by the German National Physical Training Union (D.R.L.) in three grades as a recognition of proficiency in sports. Bronze (the lowest grade), silver and gold.
