Description

A Navy cap from the Great Patriotic War. The headdress is made of black cloth with white edging along the edge of the bottom and the upper edge of the band. The band is made of black turnip ribbon. Black lacquered fiber visor, two-button patent leather strap with a star. It was introduced by order of the People's Commissar of the Navy No. 426 dated October 20, 1939.

The front features the Navy emblem in the form of an anchor on a bay of ropes, surrounded by golden leaves from a rope, and above it a five-pointed red star with a white center, where the USSR symbol of the hammer and sickle is located.

In 1943, an ornament appeared on the visors of the caps of the senior officers of the naval and naval engineering services. But others continued to wear such a cap without changes.

This shape element will be an excellent purchase for collectors, reenactors or history buffs. The authentic aesthetics of the era and the high quality of the workmanship make this cap a valuable exhibit.
