Description

Proven quality stamp. We use such by ourselves when take goods to the warehouse. All dimensions correspond to the original, the stamp is made from the original print!

Be careful, do not be fooled! Our stamps are made from rubber, not from a cheap disposable material that is commonly used to make office seals. The seals are designed to work with water-based inks, and quickly get out of order from other inks. And our stamps allow you to use alcohol and solvent based paints and are designed for long use.

Stamp price + all helmet sizes (so you can use any size number).

How to use stamps?

The stamp is designed for use with paints on all popular solvents, for example, on alcohol or acetone. There are special indelible inks for stamps, but in fact, you can use any "chemistry" and also ink. The paint is applied to a piece of fabric (or a special pillow for stamps), then touch this fabric with a stamp, and the paint goes to the stamp. It is important to ensure that the paint is only on letters / numbers, and not on the basis of a stamp, so there won't be excess dirt on the print. You can practice on old fabric to achieve the desired result. Then press the stamp with the paint to the “finishing” fabric, hold for 2-3 seconds so that the paint is absorbed and the print is ready!

To make a stamp to order?

It is possible, but be ready to provide a layout: a vector model (file in curves). Or it will be necessary to pay us for the development of the layout from 1000₽ / $15 (if just change the information on one of our stamps) to 10.000₽ / $150 (make a layout with a unique font and/or logo).

Historical reference.

SSh-39 (steel helmet model 1939) came to replace the SSh-36, as a more convenient, reliable and thoughtful model. Then this helmet was upgraded to the SSh-40 model. The SSh-39 helmets were still produced in 1940 and 1941, in parallel with the SSh-40.

The SSh-39 has a liner attached to the helmet on 3 rivets, and the SSh-40 has a different system (without a hoop), and 6 rivets are visible on the outside of the helmet. The geometric shapes of the SSh-39 and SSh-40 are almost identical, although they are easily distinguishable from the experienced collector's eye: the SH-39 has a more elongated egg-shaped look than the SH-40, which is less elegant and closer to the ball in shape. For simplicity, collectors call the SSh-39 a "three-rivet" or "trjokh-kljopka", and the SH-40, respectively, a "six-rivet".

Before the start of the Great Patriotic War in the USSR, steel helmets were produced at the metallurgical plant named after the newspaper "For Industrialization" (Lysva) and at the Stalingrad plant "Red October". Steel for the production of helmets was also brought to Lysva from Stalingrad.

The "Red October" plant (ЗКО in Russian) was one of the largest manufacturers of the defense industry in the USSR. In 1936, a decree was issued on the construction of a separate workshop for the production of steel helmets at the plant. The workshop was built at an accelerated pace, and at the beginning of 1940 it was put into operation. A few more months to establish production.
