Description

The Amoeba camouflage suit is a high-quality replica of the USSR costume from the period of the Great Patriotic War.

The patterns of the original Red Army costume were used in the manufacture, so that the replica corresponds to the historical model.

The color scheme corresponds to the classic summer version of the "Amoeba" camouflage: dark brown spots are applied to a khaki background (yellow-brown shade). It was this drawing that became one of the most recognizable among the samples of the Soviet military uniform.

The suit is made of 100% natural cotton. The material is lightweight, breathable and comfortable even with prolonged use. The cotton fabric is breathable, dries quickly, and is great for remodeling, hiking, themed events, filming, and collecting.

Historical reference.

The Amoeba camouflage is one of the most famous examples of camouflage clothing of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War. This Red Army camouflage was developed in the late 1930s and was actively used during World War II by intelligence units, snipers, sappers, paratroopers and other Red Army soldiers.

The name "Amoeba" appeared due to the characteristic large irregular spots. Such Soviet camouflage effectively blurred the silhouette of a man against the background of grass, bushes and rough terrain.

During the war years, several types of drawings were produced. The most famous is considered to be the summer "Amoeba" — dark brown spots on a khaki background (yellow-brown shade). There were also green options, night modifications.
