Carrying strap sling for Mosin carbine

Description

Carrying strap made of thick canvas webbing with leather ring fasteners at the ends. Buckles steel galvanized. Handmade sewing. 1941 armory and manufacturer marks. Not to be confused with post-war straps and ones without stamps.

Historical reference.

The "three-line" rifle of the 1891 model was created by the constructor, Major General of the Russian Army Sergey Ivanovich Mosin. The rifle was in service until the end of World War II. During this time it was modernized. Several models of a hunting and sporting gun were created on its basis.
