Description
The tip on the sling of the equipment is 20 mm. It is an extremely rare item, but it is not found anywhere else in good quality. It has a LUX stamp.
Check the width of the sling you have!
The sling must be at least 20 mm (19,5-20,5 mm is acceptable).
It is very easy to install. It is enough just to insert the sling inside and clamp it. To make it easier, you can slightly loosen the tip with pliers. Use masking tape to protect the paint during installation. The result is a neat tip that appears to be factory-installed on the press! Whereas plain billets can never be installed accurate without special equipment.
The price is for 1 tip.
Historical reference.
Established by Colonel-General von Brauchitsch on December 20, 1939 to award Panzerwaffe tankers, by analogy with an infantry badge. The sketch of the sign was designed by the Berlin company Ernst Peekhaus. It should be worn on the left side of the tunic, pinned like a brooch.
The sign was awarded for:
- participation in three or more separate attacks;
- getting injured during a combat operation;
- manifestation of special courage during a combat operation.
Silver badge was intended to award tankers. And on June 6, 1940, for the crews of self-propelled guns, armored vehicles and for soldiers of infantry units of tank divisions, the "bronze" version of the award was approved.
In June 1943, additional sign were introduced for rewarding for participation in 25, 50, 75 and 100 tank battles. Only one badge of the highest level obtained can be worn.
