How to choose the size?
You need to put on the pants and measure from the buttons on the back of the pants over the shoulder and down to the buttons on the front of the pants (as the elastic band goes). The length of the suspender should be 10-20 cm longer than the measurement obtained. Please remember that the waist of the German pants is at the level of the lower rib, above the navel, it is 10-20 cm higher than jeans' waist, and for German WW2 pants you need shorter suspenders!
For example. You measured from button to button over your shoulder and got 89 cm. Add 10 cm (or more) as a margin and get 99 cm. Medium size braces (93...103 cm) will suit you.
Description
An excellent replica of the suspenders of our own production. Original 35 mm wide elastic band, neatly reproduced leather tips. V-shaped model, fastened by the buttons on the inside of the belt of trousers from 1940 or by the straps and buttons of the 1943/44 models. The length is smoothly adjustable by buckles.
All fittings are original German made in feldgrau color (RAL 6006).
There are stigmas for the beginning and middle of the war:
- Wilhelm Meisters jr. Bielefeld 1940
- RBNr. 0/0267/0001
There are also suspenders at a reduced price with minor drawbacks: it may not be a new elastic band, the edge of the elastic band may not be smooth, a stamp is stamped twice, a blot from the stamp, etc. The disadvantages are very small, sometimes not noticeable at all, do not affect operation.
