Battery GNOME 4.5 V. The label accurately reproduces the original. It was used in Soviet pocket flashlights, radios, etc., household and military electronics items.

The battery can be used for its intended purpose, it is a new battery.

On the front part is the inscription "Dry battery GNOME. Radio electro-battery plant No. 1 RZAZ. Metkopromsoyuz Promkooperativ Moscow" (Сухая батарейка ГНОМ. Радио электро-аккумуляторный завод №1 РЗАЗ. Меткопромсоюз Промкооператив Москва). On the back is the appeal "The consumer, buying a battery, demand a test for a light bulb" (Потребитель, покупая батарейку, требуй испытания на лампочку). There is a paper seal on the contacts with the inscription "Test first, then tear it off" (Сначала испытайте, потом срывайте). On the side there is a marking "Pay attention to the day of issue" (Обращайте внимание на день выпуска) and the date of issue stamped on August 23, 1939.
