Ring-hook for a German infantry assault backpack (A-frame) or for various backpacks. Independent development, made in Russia. Material steel, painted in matt grey.

Historical reference.

Steel hooks were introduced in 1940. Interesting fact, that aluminum hooks of this type may be found only on "Affe" packs, but it seems that only steel hooks were installed to A-frame. That part of equipment was mass produced when production of aluminum parts was ceased.
