Description
An original aluminum pot made for the Romanian army. It almost completely copies the German model of 1931 and has a gray-green color exactly like on German bowlers. It can be used like Wehrmaht mess-tin in the reenactment of the German army during the Second World War as an inexpensive replacement for the original bowler hat or for film production. The pots are in storage condition, food grade aluminum, can be used immediately.
Our pot is 2 times cheaper than the original German one. In addition, the originals are often badly battered, without paint (or in artisanal repainting), dirty, smoked, etc. And this pot is for warehouse storage.
The photo below shows the differences between the ears of this bowler hat and the German model of 1931. It can be seen that there are no other differences in general.
What is a discount mess-tin?
On this mess-tin, the lid has a crack invisible to the eye, through which water slowly seeps (if it is poured there). The body of the pot itself is without flaws. The crack can be welded or used as is for reenactment or exposure.
