Description
A unique copy of the WH cap made from the original tent fabric. Olive-colored HBT lining (herringbone weave). The size is only 55 cm, it's a small size. Aged, it looks authentic!
Historical reference.
Splinter camo caps were not officialy produced for the Wehrmacht. But some soldiers ordered them privately. They could be made from Zeltbahn (tent) cloth or more lightweight fabric taken from camo smocks or winter parkas. Private makers coult take a standart M43 cap as a model or sometimes tropical or SS models.
