Description
A sling tip for tropical gear. It is designed specifically for the "narrow" 16 mm strap for "coconut" field bottles and others canteens of the Afrika Korps. It was also used on the "Styrian" gaiters of the mountain troops. It is an extremely rare item, but it is not found anywhere else in good quality. It has a LUX stamp.
It is very easy to install. It is enough just to insert the sling inside and clamp it. To make it easier, you can slightly loosen the tip with pliers. Use masking tape to protect the paint during installation. The result is a neat tip that appears to be factory-installed on the press! Whereas decompressed semi-finished products can never be installed beautifully without special equipment.
The price is for 1 tip.
Historical reference.

The original tip is made by H.S.B. (they were produced by several enterprises). Photo source and a very good information article: fjm44.com
