How to choose the size?
Attention! This decal has a protective layer in the form of a thin transparent film. Unpack carefully! The layer may stick to the packaging. Do not remove this layer before installation. If you remove it immediately when unpacking, then the letters will not be connected to each other during installation and will blur. The protective layer is removed after installing the decal (see below for how to install the decal).
If you see that the protective layer is missing or damaged during unpacking, contact the store in advance before using the decal!

Description
We offer quality decals made specially for our shop. Sketches are developed on the basis of original inscriptions on German grenades. The drawings have the correct proportions and perfect symmetry. Decals are printed on professional equipment.
Decals for offensive grenades M24 — the inscription VOR GEBRAUCH SPRENGKAPSEL EINSETZEN (insert detonator before use) in two different fonts (options 1 and 2, respectively, you need to choose before purchase).
Eagle WaA is offered as a separate item, it is not included in a decal set for the M24 grenade!
How do I install the decal?
Step 1. Put the piece of paper with the image (as it is, nothing needs to be cut out) in warm water for 10-20 seconds. Place the decal on the surface (of the model or other object) and, holding the drawing with your finger, pull out the paper base from under it. Set the drawing flat by wetting it with water if it sticks. You can outline in advance with a pencil on the surface where the edges of the drawing should go. Then remove the water from under the drawing with a cloth or toilet paper, without moving the image.
Step 2. Allow the decal to dry for at least 3 hours (preferably 6 hours). After that, use a sharp object (the tip of a stationery knife or needle) to pry the edge of the lacquer layer and remove it, making sure that the image is not damaged. Wipe it off with a damp cloth. The paint will remain without a varnish layer (in fact, it is there, but minimal).
After removing the film of the varnish, you will literally get paint on paint, as it should be in the original. The most authentic look without an expensive stamp, special paint, without trial and error. In the production of the original German grenades, the inscription was applied with a special printing roller. Some people try to use a stencil to simulate an inscription, but this is initially incorrect, because the roller gives an impression with a characteristic edge, and the stencil is an even layer of paint. Decal is the closest imitation of a printing roller!
How to fix the decal?
By itself, the decal holds perfectly and does not require fixing. However, if you are going to wet the thing in the rain, the decal should be additionally fixed.
Method 1. A well-dried image can be varnished by first masking the areas of paint around the decal with masking tape. The varnish is sold in cans in shops for artists, motorists or in construction. It is better to use a matte varnish for these decals and cover the entire surface of the product with it. There are also various tools for "welding" decals, which are sold in stores for modelers.
Method 2 is called "baking". This may not give a good result the first time (the decal may bulge if there was air or microdrops of water under it), but with a successful result, the decal holds so firmly that it can only be removed with the paint. It literally melts into the paint and becomes one with it. To "bake" the decal, you need to heat the object in the oven so that it is not pleasant to touch it with your hand from the heat, but no more so as not to burn the paint. Then turn off the heating and let the item cool down.
