The cap of the mountain rangers of the Wehrmacht (Gebirgsjäger): a copy. Feldgrau (dull green, almost gray) top made of high-quality officer's cloth (it differs from the soldier's in a smoother texture and even color), dark green (bottle) band, green edging, metal signs, silver cord made of metal wire (cold to the touch). Silver cord made of metal wire. The visor is black lacquered. A copy of the neat execution.
The color of the fringe has a cool green tint, as it should be for huntsmen, it is not light green (although light green was also found among huntsmen). A metal symbol of the mountain troops is installed between the eagle and the cockade: the edelweiss flower.
